With a 14 car field Saturday night Matt McCaslin started dead last, and with only a 12 lap main event he had his work cut out. Passing cars like it was easy Matt
was running out of time, then at the last second passed Mike McCann of Oregon who has many track championships under his belt for the main event win. This was
Matt's first event win and what a win it was!

Our second race was down at Willow Springs Raceway. We mostly run dirt track but racing is racing. Marc stuck his brother in his #8 Desoto and he ended up finishing 3rd, Marc ran his #55 and the throttle got stuck wide open and rear ended another car.

 

first night out at the Bakersfield Speedway. Marc's #8 38 Desoto and Kenny Farris # 70 who won that night. Marc made it to the white flag but blew out the right rear tire.
